How It Works

Step 1 – Vison Consultation
Reach out to us to share your vision. Let’s begin the conversation about what you’re looking for.
Step 2 – Schedule A Meeting
Set a day and time to meet with our closet programmer to plan your design. To secure your slot, send a $100 initial deposit.
Preferred payment method is Zelle/QP to billing@clearbrookbuilders.com. Alternatively, you can mail a us a check.
Step 3 – Pre-Meeting
Take precise measurements of your closet area. Refer to our Measuring Guide for assistance. Be advised that while we provide guidance, we do not assume responsibility for any inaccuracies in your measurements.
Send these measurements to us prior your scheduled meeting to ensure a smooth and efficient design session.
Step 4 – Design Session
Attend your programming meeting and see your closet design come to life in a 3D model.
Step 5 – Approval
Review final design and pricing details. Once you’re happy with the design, confirm your approval and send payment for the balance. The approximate turnaround time is 2-4 weeks upon receipt of payment.
Step 6 – Pickup and Assembly
Your custom closet parts and hardware will be ready for pickup at 770 Vassar Ave, Suite 4, Lakewood, NJ 08701. You have the option to assemble the closet yourself or hire a handyman to do it for you. Check out our Installation Guide for helpful tips.

Note: ‘Programming time’ covers both live meeting sessions with the
programmer and the time spent outside the meetings, which includes
finishing the programming, preparing the quote, preparing the
assembly drawings, as well as necessary revision as advised by the
client during the development of the closet design. Most standard
home closets and bookcases are done with the staff programmer; it is
only customizations that have not been done before that need senior
programmer time.
